CorrosionX for Guns
There are three areas when it comes to the maintenance of the metal parts of your guns. The first is the deposits from gun powder, copper and lead. The second is the corrosion that start to develop if the gun is wet or in humid environment. The third is lubrication of the gun for better velocity and jam free operation. CorrosionX is a product that will take care of all three areas without compromise. CorrosionX cuts through the deposits and when it reach the metal it will lift the lead, copper and powder residue out of the pores for easy removal with a patch. The secret to this is that CorrosionX bonds with the metal and will penetrate to all areas of the gun. If you leave a thin film of CorrosionX on your gun it will stop any corrosion and make it much easier to clean the gun next time. For hunters out in the bush CorrosionX stays on the gun with it's polar bonding properties and will protect the gun in rain and snow. It is also self healing so if you happen to rub of an area it will slowly creep back again. Because CorrosionX will thin out to only a micron thickness it doesn't impede the bullet and therefore increase the velocity, accuracy and consistency. The coefficient of friction is lower then PTFE-fortified products. It is also designed for high temperatures and doesn't burn of. The bonding with the metal means that it doesn't ”sling of” semiautomatics and automatic actions. So for the hunter or target shooter CorrosionX will protect, clean and increase the performance of your gun and the big bonus is that CorrosionX is non-toxic, food-safe and environmently friendly. You only need one product for the maintenence of all the metal parts on your gun. We've just bought that new boat that sits on its new shiny trailer. After every trip we are careful and wash of the salt water with fresh water and make sure that it is clean. A couple of years later the shine is gone and a few parts are slowly turning rusty brown. We have been careful and may even have put on some cheap corrosion inhibitor that you can find in most chandlery and fishing shops but it didn't help. After a number of years, the nice man at the local WOF station says that you have to fix the rust before he can approve it. So why does this happen. Email: eddie@corrosionx.org |
